Comment: Epic game with the best soundtrack of any Book of… video slot

If you haven’t played the Book of Tribes by Spinomenal yet, you need to find a casino and have a go. This is one of my all-time favourite games, and not just because it’s an epic game, but because the soundtrack to this game is awesome. Erie, intriguing and more than a little addictive, especially once you have won a larger pot, the music picks up a beat and you find yourself on the edge of your seat.
Set in the rainforests of South America most likely Peru, this Mayan-themed game has it all. Jaguars, chieftain’s daughter, Shaman, and a Golden Eagle, not to mention the golden book which, once triggered leads the way to 10 free spins.
This game offers a “Buy Feature”, which is your shortcut to a bonus round. Obviously, this isn’t free, so expect to pay 104x your stake for 10 “free” spins. It goes without saying that this option doesn’t always payout what the buy option has cost you. I came close to recouping my buy-in price, but it fell short by a considerable way. As always luck plays its part, but our top tip is to avoid this feature and play the game one spin at a time. It’s worth the wait.
The payouts are really good in this game and although the casino won out in the end, this game kept me coming back for more and it never disappointed me. With headphones on and the volume up, this game is brilliant. No headphones and no soundtrack and this game loses a lot of its appeal. Basically, it becomes just another Book of… game.
There is no safer gambling element other than the good old-fashioned manual click option. Which is good for me. There is no better way to control your game than a little willpower and an urge to play something else.
Spinomenal is a god among men when it comes to game development and graphical masterpieces. Everything they produce is an instant hit, even the quirkier games such as Book of Xmas and Donut Rush. The Book of Rampage is a great addition to an already impressive collection of Book slots.
The Book of Tribes is the next evolution in Spinomenals Book of… games, which interestingly enough designed to impress you away from the Tomb-based games. It works too. Obviously, this game is based around the classic scatter symbols that you’d normally get with any Book of… slot. Bag a minimum of three scatter symbols to trigger your 10 Free spins Bonus round.
The jackpots and wins in this game are really good, but oddly enough, that didn’t matter. Playing a seriously entertaining game that wasn’t an ancient Egyptian-themed game was enough. Bag the scatter symbols in the good old-fashioned way, and this game comes alive. The pots are great and the animation is better.
There is no gamble feature on this game. There is a “go faster” button, but that just eats away at your funds and takes all the enjoyment out of the game.
