Game Content

The Book of Xmas is a hoot. Santa on acid more like. The spins in this game are turbocharged and the spins last seconds. That said, I love this game. Probably has something to do with the fact that I bagged the three Book symbols on the second spins and dropped a tasty win.

The graphics are Ok in this game, but nothing too special. Spinomenal is a brilliant game producer, but this Book of… feels a little rushed. Sounds a little harsh, but for a Christmas game, the Book of Xmas isn’t as engaging as you’d hope.

The soundtrack to this game is more a Christmas movie than a Christmas game, but I sort of liked that. The Book of Xmas is like Eggnog (Advocate for our posher readers), it will only be brought out at this time of the year and put away just as quickly. Luckily for Spinomenal, I like both. Well not eggnog, that’s just wrong.

Did it make the naughty list?

Ho Ho Ho Yes. Especially the part where the lucky fairy paid me a visit and I dropped a massive, epic, super spin win. Seriously, massive win. This Christmas naughty is defo Santa-approved. The hard-working elves at Spinomenal had a little too much Red Bull though because the spins are too fast.

That said, the good grown-up children playing this game might find a reward in emptying their pots quickly. Merry Christmas and Bah Humbug!

There is no safer gambling element in this game. The Autoplay is just a constant loop where each spin zips round in less than 2 seconds, which means your pot dwindles like the ghost of Christmas past. Stay manual and control your own game.

Game Developer

Spinomenal is a master at the Book of… series of slots with a massive thirteen books and counting. All of which are easily playable across multiple devices including desktop and mobile devices. Spinomenal have a massive following around the world, and with their range of Book of… games available, it’s easy to see why.

Bonus Feature

Free Spins

The Book of Xmas is built around the classic scatter symbols that you’d normally get with any Book of… slot. Three Book of… symbols trigger the Bonus spins and you are then taken to the actual Book which reveals your Bonus symbol, and the spins begin. You start with 10 free spins.

Prizes in this game seem to come thick and fast. What you win might not break the bank, but it will keep your pot topped off nicely. I dropped a few big pots in this game too. Including, the Free Spins that just kept adding up.

Gamble Feature

There is no gamble feature in this game. The rest is just good old-fashioned reels and spins with OK graphics and a film vibe soundtrack that made me want to watch the Christmas channel.
