Comment: It’s easy to like this game, but difficult to make it pay without buying added spins.
The brilliant Book of Slingo is a hedonistic mix of Slots and Bingo. Each game lasts for 11 spins, in which time you need to match numbers on the reel with the grid in order to complete Slingo so that you can move up the ladder. And what a ladder it is. The graphics and soundtrack in this game are great.
There is no reward without risk in this game. Everything you do is calculated to create a sense of “go for it”, and I have to say that it really works. This isn’t just another slots game with a slight Bingo twist, this is a thinking person’s game that requires participation and a little strategy. You need to weigh up the odds and the sums. I have played this game a few times and have managed to walk away with an actual win. But that comes with a massive BUT.
Does your bet warrant the reward?
WARNING: Keep an eye on your stake vs potential win. You need to keep an eye on your stake total at the left-hand side of the screen. I played a €1 a play game and had already staked €301 before I managed to bag all the symbols. My options at this point were to take the “win” (obviously not a win), or play the Bonus round. Which, I took. After an additional 15 spins added to my already 10 free spins, I bagged €264. This made my final tally a €37
If ever there was a game designed to get you to gamble away your pot, then this is the game. That said, the risk is worth the pot. Once you step out of the €1 stake margin, then every extra spin becomes difficult to re-coop some of your stake. I tried this game on lower stakes and higher stakes and I only ever made even or better with the lower stakes.
There is a very clever Safer gambling element in this game. However, this option only activates once your additiona “buy-in” option is bigger than your stake.
Gaming Realms have created a monster with this game. This is what a Book of… should be about. Risk, reward and a whole heap of brilliant gamble action. I have played a few of their other games too, and they are all based on this version of slots/gamble feature games. Not for the faint-hearted gambler with a limited pot. Looking forward to more from the genius bar at G Realms.
The Book of Slingo is built around the classic scatter symbols that you’d normally get with any Book of… slot, but with a Bingo feel to the game. The difference in this game is that there is a basic Bingo element that is coupled with the slots and the Book of… features. If you manage to get to the spins part, then you start with 10 free spins.
Prizes in this game are pretty good if you stick to a lower stake and keep a keen eye you’re your stake. Bagging Free spins is easy enough, but you need to weigh up the risk. RISK is the main feature of this game. Greed takes over and before you know it your pot is empty. A great twist on the Book of… series though.
OH YES, and then some! This game is one giant gamble feature with a fabulous options feature that allows you to either take the pot or gamble on free spins. Obviously, there is the option to buy more spins too, but they don’t always pan out. This game is not without risk!
