The dream of mankind and Amigo Gaming to recreate the Jurassic era hasn’t materialised in the Book of Jurassic. This “lush world” of prehistoric life with its creation secrets hidden in a mystical book version offers a fabulous theme that just hasn’t been perfected.
The animation is a little lacking, and the game is a little basic. That said, the expanding special symbols over the vertical positions of the reels is a cool touch, giving the game an abundance of dinosaurs. Players can hunt for treasures and explore the fantasy world in the adventure of a Jurassic slot, but all they’ll find is a game that needs a serious boost.
Is the Book of Jurassic a “go-to” game?
A simple no! I’d like this game to be better than it is, but it isn’t unique enough to make me add this to my “go-to” list. The Book of Jurassic offers OK graphics and solid game-play mechanics that are worthy of the Book of… selection of games, but it needs something extra to make it stand out.
