Scientific Games announces Game of Thrones lottery games. It might not be the Game/TV mash-up that we expected, but the excitement among GOT fans is starting to reach fever pitch.
The exclusive multi-year agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment is set to bring HBO’s iconic brand, GAME OF THRONES, to digital and retail lottery games for the very first time.
This expanded partnership grants limited worldwide rights to the epic brand. Under this agreement, Scientific Games will introduce innovative GAME OF THRONES branded player experiences, featuring instant scratch games, Fast Play games, and digital lottery games. These game designs are now available for U.S. and international lotteries.

To ensure the potential success of GAME OF THRONES, the company conducted extensive consumer research, using the Power Index to measure the intensity of liking that the brand holds. The results were impressive, with GAME OF THRONES ranking among the top brands for lottery games.
Kyle Rogers, the Vice President of North American Instant Products for Scientific Games, expressed enthusiasm about adding such a powerful brand to their licensed properties portfolio. “Our global teams are ecstatic to add a powerful brand GAME OF THRONES to our licensed properties portfolio. There is so much iconography associated with the TV series that it works creatively with our omni-channel lottery games. Building on the positive research insights, Rogers hinted at the possibility of GAME OF THRONES becoming a central element in their upcoming blockbuster lottery Linked Games, which they will announce soon.
