Notably, the sportsbooks experienced a commendable upswing in profits, with earnings reaching $6.8 million for the game, compared to $4.4 million in the preceding year. This translated to a hold percentage of 3.7 percent, reflecting the industry’s adeptness in capitalizing on the heightened interest and engagement surrounding the event.
This extraordinary performance eclipsed Nevada’s previous wagering pinnacle set in 2022, which witnessed a total of $179.8 million in bets, further cementing the state’s status as a premier destination for sports betting enthusiasts.
