Game Content
The Book of Vikings is a good Book of… game by the legendary Pragmatic Play, problem is, it doesn’t grip you the way other Pragmatic games do. The background animation is pretty cool, and the option to select the background sounds is great too. Opt for the sound FX rather than the Ambient music, and you’ll get the battle drums egging you and other Vikings onward.
Board the Viking Longboat and choose the ambient sound and it’s more of a mellow seas fearers mix of music to help guide you through the waves. None of which influence the game. The game isn’t as bad as you would first think. It turns out that this is an engaging game that really pops once you start to win.
Had I played this game for 20 mins with no win, this might be a different review. That said, it wasn’t, and I liked this game. Not exactly top-10 material, but worth a go.
There is no safer gambling element other than the good old-fashioned manual click option. Which is good for me. What better way to control your game than a little willpower and an urge to play something else.

Obviously, I got luckier once I had upped my bet, but this is a randomly generated play, so that doesn’t mean that the same will apply to your game. Stay within your limits regardless what the outcome.

There is no gamble feature on this game, but there is an option to “buy Spins”. Choosing this option is risky as we never managed to win back what it cost for the “free spins”, which obviously weren’t free. Stick to good old-fashioned winning and you can’t go wrong.
