The Mayan Book by the multitalented Belatr Games is my new feel-good Book of… video slot games. The game is a Mayan block set game that has Mayan symbols (obviously) set into a stone-clad face and the best soundtrack to any Book of… game by far. WARNING: Headphones on and volume up and you’ll be playing this game all day.
The animation looks a little basic to start with, but the more you play the more you realise just how engaging and entertaining this game is. The bonus rounds are fabulous, and the gamble feature is a hoot. Albeit a little risky, that just adds to this game’s appeal.
Bag just two Books and the respin function is triggered, giving you another shot at a bonus round. The bonus round is fun too, with extra excitement generated in every spin. There is a Gamble feature in this game that you can opt between basic Red or Black or choose the Dealer version where you get to pick one of 5 cards. It’s a good feature that really is a “luck of the draw” sort of deal, so choose wisely or leave well alone.
The safer gambling element to this game is good, with everything selected through autospin mode.
