Game Content
Yet another brilliant game from the legendary Synot Games has hit the scene with the slightly disappointing Book of Secrets. Not that the game is bad, but it is yet another “Ancient Egyptian themed” game with yet another uncovered Pharaoh’s tomb that has un-hidden lost treasure.
There seems to be a lot of that about lately, and getting a game out first is key when it comes to being the original. Unfortunately for Synot Games, this has been done by Book of Ra and all the little Ra additions.
Let me backtrack a little, the Book of Secrets is a good fun Book of… edition to play with all the usual hits that make the Book of… series worth playing, but there is very little to distinguish between the “lost tomb” games. This 5-reel adventure with special expanding symbols that turn into Free spins doesn’t have the pull of some of the other games of a similar ilk.
There is no safer gambling element in this game. This is just a spin-and-win the game with a basic autoplay mode.

Synot Games are a team of “enthusiasts” that put together a team of game gurus to create their brilliant portfolio of games. Colourful, cheery and very playable games that will keep you coming back for more. Their Book of… series is good but limited to just two games. The Book of Secrets is built around the classic scatter symbols that you’d normally get with any Book of… slot. The difference in this game is that there is an extra reel. Free spins start once you trigger the Bonus rounds. You start with 10 free spins.
Prizes in this game are pretty good, but not epic in the way that finding lost treasure should be. That said, I bagged the scatter symbols more than once, and was happily surprised at the result. Needless to say, this is a random feature, so there is no guarantee that you will get that same win frequency.
