The Book of Rest is a classic Book of… game that isn’t going to set the world on fire, but it will keep you entertained and amused with its hidden charms and well-thought-out game play gems.
They say there is no rest for the wicked, but the Book of Rest is a clever holiday-style game that isn’t difficult to like. Especially when you land on either the Respin mode or the equally brilliant “Random Events” aspect to the game. Obviously, there is gambling involved, so it isn’t totally innocent, but it is a welcomed break from all things
The Respin feature in the Book of Rest is great. Essentially it’s a second bite at the cherry that is activated when you bag one of the Book symbols. Basically, it lets you respin every reel that doesn’t have the Book symbol in it.
The Random events range from mixing to Sticky Lines and Miracle Reflection. Mixing spontaneously shuffles symbols to create winning combinations. Sticky Lines sticks winning combination to the reels and gives you another respin. Miracle Reflection randomly mirrors reels to create winning combinations.
The safer gambling element of this game is limited to all the usual autoplay mode options with a few safeguarding features that are available. You can manually activate the “Balance is reduced by”, and “Balance is increased by” options, but all they do is stop the autospin function. Not a perfect way to manage your pot, but it is helpful. The rest is good old-fashioned self-control.
