Game Content
There is just no hiding behind the fact that there are better games out there, even if the Book of Relics Mega Drop is a good game. The problem is, the theme is a little done and dusted unless you have an absolutely epic “addition” to the format. Which, Red7 doesn’t.
The Egyptian theme pokes its well-covered head out yet again in a nod to the original Book of Relics from the masters at Red7/SG Digital. Although there is only so much that you can change in a game with all the same features as if forerunner the Book of Relics, the Mega Drop part does add a new level to a game that is popular.
Sadly, that’s all that there is to write about. This is a good game, but not great and virtually the same as the Book of Relics, which is the same as the Book of Ra and not as much fun as the very similar yet utterly brilliant Riche Wilde and the Book of the Dead.
The safer gambling element to this game is limited to all the usual autoplay mode options. Basically, what you get here is a good old-fashioned dose of self-restraint, or in other words, this is just a spin and win the game with a basic autoplay mode.
Game Developer
Red7 is a seriously talented bunch of people with an almost infinite amount of gaming know-how and knowledge. Add to that the fact that they are now part of the fabulous SG Digital group of geniuses, and you get the general idea of what we can expect over the coming months, and years.

The jackpots and wins in this game were really good. The Mega Drop if it happens (didn’t for me) will be worth the wait. Obviously, luck or the lack thereof played its part in this game.
