Game Content
The Book of Oil is a strange game. Not strange to play, just the concept and idea is a little strange, sort of an 80s’ nod to JR Ewing and the Dallas team. That said, it’s a good game to play. The graphics are great, but the soundtrack is a little dull.
It looks like a modern fresh Book of… classic that won’t sit on the top of too many lists, nor will it be on the bottom. This game is easy to play, but it comes with a warning, game play is fast, especially in auto-mode.
There is no safer gambling element in this game. The Autoplay is just a constant loop where each spin zips round in less than 2 seconds, which means your pot dwindles like a dried up oil well. Stay manual and control your own game.

Endorphina has a range of games that cover just about all genres for all players. They are without doubt one of the best at what they do. Absolutely all their games are worth playing. Unfortunately, they are limited to just two Book of… games, which are both brilliant additions to their catalogue. We wait in anticipation of their next Book.

Gamble Feature
There is a brilliant gamble feature in this game that is totally different to that of other Book of… games. Instead of the usual Red/Black or Higher/Lower games, the Book of Oil has a Higher-only game played with 5 cards. Basically, you need to just pick a higher card. Note: The Gamble feature does not work in Autoplay mode.
The rest is just good old-fashioned reels and spins with OK graphics and a mildly uninteresting soundtrack that should be better.
