Game Content
Starting a review with a question isn’t usually a good thing, but in the case of the Book of Mummy, it’s needed. The question is do I like the Book of Mummy? This is sort of a weird game that looks like it should appeal to kids. Obviously, this is a gambling game, so it isn’t for under 18’s, but it isn’t really aimed at me either. KA Gaming is Asian market-orientated, so this game is obviously for the manga/anime audience. Which, I am not, yet I still like the game!
The Book of Mummy by KA Gaming isn’t really the sort of game that I would play. The childlike characters are a little off-putting, and the game itself is seriously basic, even for a Book of… game, but there is a fun element to this game that you wouldn’t necessarily have if it had been a grown-up version of this game.
By grown-up, I mean ancient mummies, Egyptian gods, and hieroglyphics we are accustomed to seeing in a pyramid-themed game. That said, this is a good game to play. The animation is great, and this game makes you smile just by playing. The 20 paylines mean that the wins are plentiful, even if they are not full wins (higher than your bet), and the background track is fun.
It’s an odd thing to say, but this game takes the mundane out of your day. It doesn’t excite and it is not the sort of game you actively seek out, but playing it distracts you in a very positive way. Odd!
There isn’t much in the way of a Safer Gambling element, but there is a fabulous game results page that lets you track your play. You have to go looking for it though, but it is comprehensive enough to be a useful tool. The rest is willpower and an urge to play something else.

KA Gaming actually stands for Kick-Ass Gaming, which tells you all you need to know about this fabulously talented games provider. Add to that their staggeringly impressive portfolio of games and you get the direction that they happily move in. All or most very much Asian market-orientated, but with such a versatile library of games it’s hard to not find exactly what you didn’t know you were looking for.

The jackpots and wins in this game are good but didn’t come around as often as I’d have liked. Bag the scatter symbols in the good old-fashioned way, and this game comes alive. The pots are great and the animation is better.

There is no gamble feature on this game. There is a “go faster” button, but that just eats away at your funds and takes all the enjoyment out of the game.
