Game Content
The starting soundtrack to the Book of Immortals instantly drags you into a game that is mysterious, ancient Egyptian, and full of eastern promise. That’s before you start playing. Hit your first spin and the animation quality is fabulous and, gets better the more you play. There is a dark sinister feel to this game that really works.
Win, and the cards/reels come alive in a fabulous animated display of 3d showmanship that is prevalent throughout all iSoftBet games. The Book symbol used to trigger the Free spins isn’t really a book, but a golden tablet laced with blue and covered with a golden scarab. Possibly the best Book symbol of any game.
From start to finish, it’s obvious that the visual aspect of this game is impressive. The pots are pretty good too, especially once you trigger the free spins. Once your bonus card has been selected, you collect the Immortals as you go along. Each one you bag, the higher up the totem pole you climb. The pots get bigger and the payouts are fabulous. Obviously, luck plays its part here, but to be honest, it didn’t seem to matter whether I won or not, the game was fun to watch.
The bonus round is the Scarab swap. This is a swarm of scarabs that swap symbols at random, which is usually a good thing as this pays out. Never a massive pot, but any positive outcome is a win.
The safer gambling element of this game is pretty good, with a Loss limiter and a stop-win function that you will need to manually activate. The rest is self-control and a good old-fashioned click-and-spin game.
