Anna the Explorer from Ark of Mystery and Dinosaur Rage is back and better than ever in the Book of Duat. This might be the first Book of… series that QuickSpin has done, but this continuation of a popular queen of the nail-biting quests is brilliant.

The theme of this game will be familiar to fans of Anna the explorer, which is a clever introduction to the Book of… fans. Gone (almost) are the T-Rex beasts, only to be replaced by re-animated Pharaohs, Anubis, the God of Death, and the croc-a-Saurus Sobek, the God of Crocodiles.

This is a game that will keep you engaged and entertained, especially if you have been following Anna the Explorer’s exploits in the other games. There is a familiarity to this game that is welcomed and fun.

The safer gambling element is missing in this game, and the auto-play is limited. You can’t control your losses, but you can work out how much you could be done at the end of the run. It’s not a good way of keeping track of what you spend in a game.

As is always the case with Buy Bonuses, they don’t always pay out more than you buy for. Obviously, they are totally random (100 Billion to be exact), and might not be always worth it.

The Bonus feature or “Pick and Click” option are what makes this Book of… game stand out, but it comes at a cost and most importantly, variable RTP percentages.
