The Book of Destiny has been built for a purpose. That purpose is to get players to relate to the brilliant Book of Ra. The original in the very popular Book of… series of slot games. A little unfair perhaps, as this is an all-new and massively improved take on the great game is lighter with clear lines and much-improved graphics that highlight the background while bringing the actual reels part into focus. Extra kudos for the well-paced hieroglyphics on the pillars.

The safer gambling element is missing in this game, and the auto-play is limited. You can’t control your losses, but you can work out how much you could be down at the end of the run. It’s not a good way of keeping track of what you spend in a game.

The Book of Destiny is built around the classic scatter symbols that you’d normally get with any Book of… slot, yet here you get the chance of bagging five symbols instead of the usual three. Three trigger the Bonus spins, but four or five multiple your pot buy 20 or 200 times, which is a game changer. You are then taken to the actual Book of Destiny which reveals your Bonus symbol and the spins begin.

You start with 10 free spins. However, drop three or more scatter symbols on a single spin during the bonus game, and not only do you get an additional +10 extra free spins, and another expanding Bonus symbol.

Prizes in this game are generous enough, especially when playing the Bonus rounds. Drop the extra symbol and the wins just go crazy. That said, it took us a long time to trigger the free spins through the Book scatter symbols, but when we did the added-on free spins just kept dropping.

There is no gamble feature in this game, but you can buy “extra Free spins”. Obviously, once you buy Free spins they are no long Free! AND, it goes without saying that this is risky.
