Game Content
If you’ve ever watched John Wick, you know that Baba Yaga is our equivalent of the Boogie Man. Not that John Wick is in this game, but you get the general idea that this is a classic horror folklore game, albeit a Slavic one.
The brilliant Book of Baba Yaga is an off-cut of the epic Baba Yage Tales from the genius pool at Spinomenal. This is not their only Folktales series of games, but it is one worth playing. The graphics are great and the storyline is great. No tomb-themed game here, and it’s all the better for it Spinomenal is master at taking a game theme and making it an instant favourite game. Everything that they commit to slots is worth playing, which given that they have something like 30+ Book of… games alone, is no easy task.
Gameplay is good, the game quality is excellent and the game reward is volatility linked, which can be frustrating, but there is a reason for this. Volatility in this game is high, which means that there are long periods without a significant win. There are wins, but these are the small wins that register as a win but don’t actually cover your stake, such as bet 1€ and win 0.50€. That said, once you finally bag a proper win, they are worth the effort, especially if you trigger the Bonus round.
What isn’t worth the effort, is the “Buy Feature”. I’ve tested the buy feature on plenty of Book of… games and they almost never payout what it cost you to buy in. In this game, the buy-in is 105x your stake. Avoid this feature and relax and enjoy.
There is no safer gambling element other than the good old-fashioned manual click option. Which is good for me. There is no better way to control your game than a little willpower and an urge to play something else.

Spinomenal is a god among men when it comes to game development and graphical masterpieces. Everything they produce is an instant hit, even the quirkier games such as Book of Xmas and Donut Rush. The Book of Rampage is a great addition to an already impressive collection of Book slots.

The jackpots and wins on this game are really good (when they come), but not mind-blowing, especially if you use the “buy feature”, which, once again, needs to be left alone. Bag the scatter symbols in the good old-fashioned way, and this game comes alive. The pots are good and the animation is better.
